Since we began our operation in the spring of 1998, we have rapidly gained a reputation for quick, efficient and consistent service. Penta Transport Ltd. is a Vancouver Island based trucking company owned and managed by Ken Slawson and Gordon Putz.

Penta Transport Ltd. provides transportation service throughout British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Yukon, Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington and Wyoming. Concrete, culverts, lumber, building materials, machinery and steel are just some examples of the type of cargo we transport with our fleet of various trailers.

The Community

Ken Slawson, one of the owners of Penta Transport, has been a Shriner for over 30 years. Penta Transport is a proud supporter of the Shriners Annual Show and Shine Event by supplying the stage, sponsoring a trophy along with event participation.

Family Owned

Entering its 25th year of operation, Gordon Putz and Ken Slawson started Penta Transport Ltd. in 1998. The company has grown and evolved over the years but stays true to its roots as a family run local employer and service provider. Penta strives to build its relationships with customers and staff through caring and trust.
